“Everyone drinks, don’t they?”
“A glass of wine in the evening is good for your health.”
Maybe this is what you’ve been hearing for years. Maybe you’ve been telling yourself the same thing: it’s just a beer after work, a glass to unwind, or that a weekend without alcohol doesn’t count because you manage fine during the week. That others drink more. That you’re still in control.
And yet, the unease keeps creeping in, and promises to change don’t last long. Because after drinking, the arguments, shame, hiding, excuses, or guilt come back. It’s getting harder to honestly tell yourself where the habit ends and the pattern that takes over begins.
This is the second course we’ve created together with Halina Pinczer - a therapist and addiction specialist. It combines practical knowledge and experience working with individuals facing addiction, helping to call things by their name—and offering a way forward.
